About Tap Road
Tap Road is an endless arcade game that tests reflexes and precision as players guide a rolling ball through fast lanes filled with deadly spikes.
Players' objective
In Tap Road, your ball will automatically roll forward relentlessly. Your only, yet most challenging, task is to control it to avoid the randomly placed spikes along the way. A single collision will shatter the ball, forcing you to restart.
Besides surviving as long as possible, players can collect small balls scattered along the path. These items help you accumulate points and unlock new balls with different colors and effects, adding motivation and excitement to the gameplay.
How to control
Tap Road's controls are straightforward: left-click on the computer or touch the touchscreen to change lanes left or right. However, this simplicity comes with a high level of challenge.
The game doesn't give you much time to plan, and even a split-second delay can send the ball crashing into the spikes. Therefore, it requires intense concentration and instantaneous reflexes.
Speed and obstacles
The ball in Tap Road rolls at a very high speed, which increases over time, while spikes constantly appear at random positions and distances. This forces players to make quick and precise decisions about moving left or right.
Notably, the small balls along the way are also a form of challenge. If you are too focused on collecting them, you may not be able to avoid the spikes ahead. Therefore, players need to consider quickly: should they take risks to get more points or prioritize safety to continue progressing further?
