What is Ragdoll Archers?
Ragdoll Archers is a physics-based archery game developed by Ericetto and first released in May 2023. You control an archer with ragdoll-like movements, and your goal is to shoot down as many enemies as possible before your health points (HP) drop to zero.
The game features 3 modes:
- Single Player – Play alone against AI-controlled enemies.
- PvP – Player versus player on the same device.
- 2 Player – Cooperative mode on the same keyboard.
Earn skulls, upgrade your abilities, and face increasingly difficult opponents as you progress. Accuracy and speed are crucial; hesitate, and your archer can be quickly defeated.
How to play Ragdoll Archers?
Main Gameplay Objective
When you start playing Ragdoll Archers, you'll control a stick-figure character standing on a narrow platform, holding a bow and arrow. Your task is to adjust the force and aiming position to eliminate your opponent. You can shoot at any part of your opponent's body, but the head is the most vulnerable spot, allowing you to defeat them in a single shot. You can monitor the red health bar above you or your opponent to see their current health level.
Control Mechanism
- For single-player mode: You will use the mouse to aim and control the shooting force and the position where you want to shoot at your opponent.
- For two-player mode: Player 1: WASD keys, left SHIFT key to jump. Player 2: Arrow keys, right SHIFT key to jump.
Pro-Level Tips and Tricks
- Be faster than your enemies: Quick reactions give you a survival edge.
- Prioritise headshots: They save stamina and eliminate enemies faster.
- Balance stamina, shot power, and damage: Hold arrows just enough to be effective without wasting energy.
- Watch ragdoll physics: Jump carefully, losing balance can make your archer fall off the platform.
- Unlock unique arrows: There are 33 unlockable types; prioritise damage-dealing arrows for tougher enemies.
- Balance upgrades: Avoid focusing too much on one stat; a balanced archer survives longer.
- Avoid explosive balls: Their blast radius can harm you as well as your enemies.
